On 28 August Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and concern “NICMAS” concluded Cooperation Agreement.
The rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine Mikhail Zgurovsky and Honorary President concern “NICMAS” Grigory Dashutin put their signature to agreement.
Concern “NICMAS” is a large engineering and industrial association. It is a flagship of national processor and power engineering having a complete cycle of the generation of marketing and technical ideas to their implementation. Concern “NICMAS” performs fixed and movable compressor oil-geared stations and various modifications, NCV filling stations, special fittings within an aggressive environment, oil-treatment equipment, heat exchange equipment, rotary compressors, pump and welding machines, redactors, assemblies and spare parts for more than 200o types of heat and power plants and thermal power plants steam turbines, foundry engineering equipment, non-standardized equipment and other equipment. In addition to the continued broadening of products assortment, Concern offers a wide range of services: designing, mounting, commissioning, equipment manufacture pursuant to customer’s documentations, service maintenance, etc. Over 4000 professionals work for the concern.
Before the signing of agreement, Mikhail Zgurovsky and Grigory Dashutin discussed the strategy of cooperation and its basic activities. The principles of cooperation arising from tendencies of development of the national economy and objectives facing the enterprises in the real economy were defined in the agreement. As the demand for intellectual product increases, engineering territory set in Kyiv is the key area of cooperation, noted Grigory Dashutin. It is a platform where scientists, engineers, businessmen, economists, lawyers and oyher specialists will meet and unite their efforts on the selected areas. And of course, will be students, young researchers dreaming of self-realization and implementation of their own ideas.
“We are interested in cooperation. Thank you for the offer. For our part we will do everything for cooperation to be successful and benefit in your business and economy of the country. – noted Mikhail Zgurovsky during this conversation. Having cooperation with company like with Concern “NICMAS” we decide how and what teach our students. We have to use modern materials instead of outdated syllabus. We can get modern materials only from companies in actual markets.”
The agreement was negotiated with the aim of joint decision of the actual tasks of organizing targeted training in preparing highly qualified engineers from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students and post-graduate educational system participants of Intersectional Postgraduate Studies Institute in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, realization of engineering projects, jointly solving scientific problems and training of highly qualified scientific personnel for the Concern.
To achieve those goals, participants will pursue a wide range of activities: negotiate establishment of the engineering joint centres, joint laboratories and stands for laboratory work; practical training in the concern enterprises, implementation of course and thesis work managed by the concern; develop education courses for the of specialist to the concern; implement relevant disciplines in the curriculum of specialists preparation in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute; provide scientific, technical, normative, advisory and other forms of information.
