On October, 6, the KPI was visited by the Vice President of International University “Technion” (Israel) Boaz Golan and Deputy Head of the Mission of the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine Emil Ben Naftali.
University “Technion” is one of the leading technical universities in the world and its walls not only prepare extremely skilled engineers, but also its staff conducts research and develop cutting-edge technology. The “Technion” conducts a huge amount of research. Several university lecturers and scientists are Nobel Prize awardees.
The Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Michael Zgurovsky, Vice-Chancellor of the NAS of Ukraine Yuri Yakymenko, Vice-Rector, Academician of the Academy of Science of Ukraine Myhailo Ilchenko, Vice President for International Cooperation member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Serhiy Sydorenko, Vice President for perspective development Olexyi Novikov, rector for the educational work Petro Kyrychok, CEO of Scientific park “Kyiv polytechnic” Vladimir Gnat, Director of the Training complex “Institute of Post-Graduate Education” Inna Malyukova and others were among those, who greeted the guests.
After exchanging information about their universities, the participants of the meeting discussed potential directions of cooperation and its forms. It is possible in various spheres, and not only in the training of specialists, but also in scientific research. However, the participants of the meeting agreed to start with one or two joint projects, during which mechanisms and directions for further development of cooperation will be worked out.
